New this week!
Hey there, friend!
I’m so delighted to have Julie Raleigh join me on this week’s episode of the Grounded in the Middle podcast.
In 2019, Madi’s House was established by Julie Raleigh in memory of her daughter, Madi, who tragically passed away at the age of 24 by taking her own life. Madi had expressed a desire for a secure and welcoming space before her untimely death. In response to her wish, the Raleigh family founded the organization that very year, dedicated to bringing Madi’s vision to life.
Madi’s House provides a supportive environment for young adults facing challenges, offering them an opportunity to engage with others, discover companionship, and nurture optimism. Within this inclusive community, individuals can come together, taking part in purposeful activities as they progress through their journey of recovery following programmatic treatment for mental health or addiction issues.
We are a vibrant place of engagement. Madi’s House offers peaceful support and alternative activities to young adults battling addiction, mental illness and hopelessness.

Since opening, Madi’s house has served 10,000 individuals and 200,000 hours have been dedicated to helping young adults prevent mental health relapse.
I hope you’ll tune in to learn more about Madi and her vision that is eliminating barriers and helping so many people in the community.
